Mixed berries are a gummi style confectionery with a shape that most closely resembles a raspberry. They come in many colours although individual flavours are a bit difficult for me to distinguish – they all taste like a mixture of berries to me.
You will get 28 berries in 100g. They contain glucose syrup, starch, food acid regulator, colours and flavours. Berries are suitable for dairy and nut free dietary constraints/choices.
Berries are nutritional powerhouses whether they’re eaten fresh, frozen, dried, freeze-dried or powdered. In general, berries are naturally high in antioxidants – compounds that may slow cancer growth. The darker the berry, the greater its phytochemical content and the more likely its reputed health benefits.
Mixed berries are great to use in home made rocky road…….
